Vision and Values

Vision and Values

Our aim is to bring the best out of every pupil that attends St Peter’s

Vision Statement

Peter was championed by Jesus to go beyond what he ever thought was possible; building the foundations for the first church and being given the keys to heaven. We build a rock- like foundation for learning and are given the keys to a successful future!

At St Peter’s Junior School,we enact this vision by holding up the PILLARS of:

  • Positivity
  • Perseverance
  • Passion and
  • Presence

So that ALL of our children may aim high and be successful.

WITH POSITIVITY-We embark on a CURRICULUM of academic challenge; rich in knowledge; matching the needs of our learners.

WITH PASSION
- We are a school where ALL can achieve, flourish and be celebrated for their talents and successes.

WITH PERSEVERANCE
-We empower each other to take responsibility; develop a curiosity in God’s creation and become courageous advocates for change.

WITH PRESENCE
- The school will be a place of safety and security for all the children and families we serve; becoming valued members of the community where they are loved and cared for.

“In the Gospel of Matthew 16:19, Jesus says to Peter, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth shall be loosed in heaven."
