Support for Parents

Support

Our aim is to bring the best out of every pupil that attends St Peter's

Ways we can support you

At St. Peter's we recognise that not all families find it easy day-to-day with the expenses that happen in normal life. Those of you who have applied for pupil premium will know that we are able to support your child in school in lots of ways, mostly academically, but there are other ways too. See the link below.

However, some of you may not be eligible to apply for the pupil premium money, or may just be struggling for one reason or another. That is why we want you to know that we can sometimes help.

The governing body has a small pot of money that can support children with things like uniform, PE kit, shoes, contribution to trips etc.

We have some spare/lost uniform that we can donate when it hasn't been claimed.

We also try to put on FISH (Food In School Holidays) club in the holidays for you to enjoy.

Please never feel embarrassed asking for help. Come into the office, speak to Mrs Williamson or Mrs Wright and we will see what we can do.

Please find below links for the free Sounds Write phonics courses for parents. These are well worth doing whatever stage your child is at with their reading and writing.
